I would believe the advice of Physicians who actually treat your father, are aware of his creatine levels, have recommended dialysis over people who are unfamiliar with him and are guessing on the Internet.
This is very serious. High blood pressure and diabetes are a very serious, deadly combination.
There is nothing magical that will change things now.
Dialysis is time consuming and somewhat unpleasant but it is NOT a death sentence.
Thanks JudyKay.
Is is Dialysis a regular ongoing treatment or is there a possibility to revert back to any medications?
Regards,
My experience with my late husband's dialysis is that it is permanent - once you are on, you stay on for life. There is no going back UNLESS the kidney problem is NOT related to diabetes and end stage renal disease.
If dialysis is required due to some other condition it is possible to stop dialysis.
