Is my belly button piercing infected?
Ok, so I got my belly button pierced 3 days ago and I touch it a lot, I try not to, but I can't help it. And when I move it up and down this like gooey kind of stuff comes out, but its not swollen but a little bit, and its not red until I mess with it. My mom said that it would happen the first week but I don't know.

And if it is infected what do I do, if I can't get anti biotics, and don't want to take it out? HELP! Please

It does happen to someone people its not serious its just the bodies way of rejecting a piercing leave it in and clean it day and night... or three times daily with anti spectic sprays... solution and try not to touch it or irritate it for instance don't rub on clothes and don't take it out only to soak in spray then put it back in with clean hands or using latex gloves... hope this helps.

First off: Stop playing with it. That's the main reason why it's doing that, I'm sure. My piercer is strict on touching/playing with it, especially while it's healing. Always, always, ALWAYS wash your hands thoroughly before touching it. When you touch/played with it, you probably didn't think to wash your hands some of the time and got some bacteria/dirt/germs onto the piercing which is another reason why it's doing that. Continue cleaning it (use latex gloves), don't move the ring around... spray or soak with sea salt solution and stop touching it. Do that for a couple of days--although I would suggest you see your piercer. He/She would know what you could do. And don't take it out on your own--it's still a fresh wound.
