My ex-girlfriend for 1 year.. She said she wants to be with me but she loves her ex... I figured it was OK because she loves me, and I trust her. However, says she is confused and loves us both. I want to be with her despite. But I fear she may actually leave me for him. Anyone with any advice or anything.. please let me know

Confront her if you are very much bothered by this problem regarding her decision to be with you or the other guy, because either one of you will get hurt and ,over your ex? In today'd lingo isn't there a funny quote " It's called an 'ex' because its an example of whom your shouldn't be with! "
Haha sorry for the bad humor but mate confronting is the safest bet to decide where your feelings lie and hers as well.

Why is she your ex girlfriend? Are you together or not? If you have been broken up for a year as you imply, then obviously you want her a lot more than she wants you back.

Words and actions don't match here so why keep waiting for her to be unconfused?

This is how you handle it... you leave her to her confusion and do your own thing... plain and simple.

It's been a year dude... why ride this crazy rollercoaster? What makes you think that, if by chance, she chooses you she will not turn the tables on you again? Confused girls/people are not to be trusted, no?
