I am using EFTPS to pay my taxes online. I chose my form 1040, and then 1040 Estimated Tax on the next line. I think get sent to the page where I input the amount I am paying, payment period, and the settlement date.

I put my amount, payment period 2011 (since it's for the whole year). It's telling me I can't continue without a settlement date. How do I do this? Do I randomly pick a date since it's for the whole year?

I suggest you contact the tax software vendor for the tax software you are using.
