92 Civic fuel pump delay and priming
92 civic, having trouble after turning the key on the fuel pump takes a while to prime from the main relay, sometimes I wait 5 minuets other times I wait 5 seconds. So I replaced the main relay with a new fuel pump just to b on the safe side, and also did a ecu harness test and that passed, I also checked for loose ground wires and found none. I notioced that if I have a wire comeing from the battery and touch it to the power wire on the main relay then the fuel pump comes on, cranks up then runs perfectly. What do you think?

Does the CEL come on for 2 seconds and then go out consistently, when the ignition switch is turned to ON (Position II)? If not, I suspect the ECM is intermittently failing. Install a new ECM and you'll probably be fine.
