My husband had a power of attorney made out for and signed by me and the girl who does our taxes, accidentally threw it away while making acopy for her files and now my husband can no long signed another one. What can I do?

Why can't he sign a new one? Why didn't you make copies? Do you have a witness to the original?

He can't sign one as he has alzhiemers. Yes I have several copies. The notary that signed the originas was the only witness. Thanks very much I hope you can help me.

So you have copies, what's the problem?

I would assume you made and had copies ?

I assume this was his POA that allowed you to sign.
And of course no one gives others anything but copies,?
