    Faucet that won't turn on .
    My kitchen faucet will not run water unless I turn the knobs back and forth a few times then the water will come out It's very aggravating can anyone help?

    Sounds like it's the washer. This is a fairly simple fix and takes about 1/2 hour. Turn off the water (make sure it's off) and take off the handle and valve will be right under. Unscrew the valve and you will see a small round rubber washer attached by a screw. Sometime's its just as easy tightening up the screw but usually you have to replace the washer which is usually only about $1 buck or so. I would suggest taking the whole valve down the home improvement store and talk to the employee in the department. If they suggest the valve is bad (which I doubt) then replace they will help find new one. If this doesn't work, you will need new faucet.

    As a side note, not all faucets have washers but the all have valves. You may need to just replace the valve. Good luck
