My period is always late for a few days for the past 2 months. I had a unprotected sex during late Dec 2011, my period is expected to come on early Jan 2012. But till now, I still have not got my period... Possible to be pregnant? Please advice.

There is always a chance that you are pregnant if you have had unprotected sex. The best way to get an accurate result is to go to the dr for a blood test. A quantitive blood test will show even the tiniest amounts of HCG in your blood where a home pregnancy test will need higher levels of HCG to show up with a positive result. The down side of a blood test is it can take 24-48 hours for a response and the wait is a real nail biter! If you do choose to use a home pregnancy test and it is negative, wait 4 more days and if you still have not had a period, test again. Always test in the morning as the hcg concentrations are much higher.
