I have a white Rogers thermostat and it just stopped working there is no power no reading on it at all I checked the breakers and the fuse in the furnace everything is OK do you think the thermostat is bad

Does it have batteries? Check the thermostat and see. Most do

Most stats have both a battery for the display panel and a 24 volt supply from the furnace control panel. The power is most frequently run through a squareish metal transformer to drop the voltage to 24 vac so look for that to start testing. The power to the transformer is a red wire.
