Hello I live in the US and I'm 14 me and parents DO NOT get a long and I am messed up cause of it and I think I will get my life back together if I'm not with them anymore without them nagging on me all the time. My friend and her mom said I am free to move in with them but my parents would Never let me and theve never phisicaly beet me so I don't know how I can get away from them PLEASE help

IF your friends mom actually did offer this, she is way out of line and should not do that.

You can not just move out, first you don't have any good reason, and second, legally there is no option to move out.

The only way at 14 u can move out is if your parents ( your biological parent) are separated at 14 your able to make the choice to leave through courts. And for if your parents are really beaten you tlk to a counselor at school they can refer help to u. But warning you children in abusive family go to family service and become foster kids and are sometimes in worser place then first started trust me I been in foster care since I was 15 until I was 18 I miss out on a lot no sleepover shopping phone calls school dance cell phone or even computer uses. So think about it. Is it really worth it?

'That's not entirely accurate. A child does not get to choose which parent they live with in a divorce. They can express a preference but the courts make the decision.

However, you are correct that, if the OP complains to the authorities, she might wind up in a worse situation.
