My period is regular I last had it December 15 it ended the 21. I cought it again on January 2nd and today is now the 10th and I still have it and its heavy with a lot of clots

Sometimes periods will just be off... maybe with timing, maybe with amount of flow, maybe with duration. It could be just a one off, but if you continue to have heavy bleeding, you could check with your doctor. There are a number of possible reasons, for example uterine polyps, that can cause unusual bleeding.

Your doctor would likely do an ultrasound to see if anything can be detected visually.
