    Injured Toe from Snowboarding
I went snowboarding this weekend and apparently my boot was too small. Each time I fell down, I put a lot of pressure on my big toes. Now, my right big toe is swollen, and light purple. I can still wiggle it and I can still walk, even though I look funny. Has this happened to anyone before? I know my toe isn't broken. I think my tissue is damaged/brusied. My co-worker says my nail is going to fall off. Give me good news.

Unfortunately there is little that can be done with a toe. If it is not broken, evidenced by you being able to wiggle it and walk, you will just have to wait it out.

If your nail falls off, be assured it will grow back. Usually only with surgical removal will the nail not grow back.

It's been a month and a half and my toe hasn't fallen off but it hasn't grown either. Does anyone know what's going to happen now?

If it's been a month and it hasn't healed at all you should definitely see a doctor! You could have a more serious problem. In the meantime, keep your socks and shoes off as much as possible and soak the toe in hot, salted water three times a day.
