If you are very post due, talk to your doctor, at least if you walk you will have the baby healthy.

The best way is walking. However, with that said, your body is not going to go into labor until it is ready to do so.

Has your doctor checked your cervix to see if you are beginning to dilate?

    Hi Mary,

How far along are you? When is/was your due date? Has your doctor or midwife mentioned a medical induction? If so, for what reason? If not, is there a particular reason you want things to start?

As J_9 mentioned, nothing will work if your body is not ready for labor to start. A medical induction will often not go smoothly if your body is not ready for labor to begin.

How far along you are can be a determining factor in what is suggested.
