Does getting your tongue peirced hurt?

Yes.

DEPENDS ON THE PERSON'S PAIN TOLERANCE.
For me, it did NOT hurt as much as I thought it would.
WITH or withOUT numbing product it was the same--did not hurt (I re-pierced my tongue cuz' the first time didn't work out for me).
But I would still suggest using the numbing product BECAUSE the clamp they hold your tongue with... HURTS (they're serrated--so it feels like a lizard is biting down on your tongue).
In other words: the clamp that holds your tongue hurts MORE THAN the piercing itself.
Like all piercings: the pain lasts for 2-3 seconds (for some people less than that; for others, less than 20seconds).
