(WA State) My husband and I are living with a roommate, who also happens to be his best friend. Our lease term is up this month, and I don't want him living here anymore. He wants to resign with us, but the only option is a 12 month lease and I refuse to do that. He is stating that he doesn't have enough money to move out, and will only relocate to another apartment in our complex (so if they have none available, then what? ) Can my husband and I just go into the office and resign the lease w/o him, stating that he doesn't want in on it again, or will they require him to be present? What can I do?
