    Truck Problem Diagnosis?
I have a 1994 ford ranger, I was driving it when my engine stalled. I came to a complete stop and tried to start it again , the engine will rotate but will not start. My fuel pump will run, and my battery has plenty of power. I own a haynes manual but I can't find a good reason for my current problems. Can any body help me with my problem?

. Check all under hood and under dash fuses with a test light or multimeter.

    . Check for codes.

. Verify that the CEL comes on and then goes out normally, when the ignition switch is turned to ON.

. Focus on the Ignition Control Module (ICM) and coil, if the problem persists.

My gut is that the ICM is bad.

rhilliard, it could easily be a failing Ignition Control Module (ICM), especially if it's flooding.
