I have a 24''x36'' oil painting.I have searched the internet to try and find any info.I took the painting to a local art dealer and they said to contact the Smithsonian and send a pic?Think I might be getting my leg pulled.

It could be a C Wilton born in 1922 in Amsterdam spent time in Canada in 1952, the USA from 1954 to 1961, also spent time in New Guinea and Singapore before returning to Amsterdam where she lived, specialised in Oil paintings.
