When I hook it to TV ,video displays no prob. I have two monitors for this dvd,but neither will work.

What exactly is this? Is it a portable DVD player? Is it a unit made for vehicles? I've seen some with dual screens that go over the backs of the front seats.

When you say that it works while connected to a TV, do you mean that you are using the video output of the unit like you would a normal DVD player?

Well, without seeing the unit it is difficult for me to be sure. If there's more than one input on the monitor, make sure the monitor is on the correct input. If you can, test the monitor with something else just to be 100% sure.

If the monitors do not get video at all and connect the same way the TV does, then there's something wrong with the monitors. If they connect through a different method, then there is possibly something wrong with the output of the player itself.
