I live in Oregon and I need to know if its legal for an 18 year okd to dateva 16 year old?

Her parents will have to give their permission, nothing sexual, including sexual touching even though the clothes.

He said he lives in Oregon. And no it doesn't matter where he lives since there are no laws governing dating. As long as his parents approve and there is no sexual activity then the law has nothing to say about it.

Well you could date a 16 year old if both of your parents agree to it. I don't see a big difference in the age you just 2 years apart. My thoughts on this is that I don't see a problem with you dating a 16 year old if you don't do any sexual stuff and don't force them to do anything because my friend was dating a 19 year old and she is 15 she didn't know he was 19 he told her that he was 17 and then her parents made them break up and then the law was dragged into it they asked if they had sex or not and she said yes and then asked if it was forced she had said nope it wasn't. If I was forced he would have got charged with a lot and there was a big case about it. But it was fine they are together and they love each other. Her parents agree now on my friend and her boyfriend dating.:) good luck but becarefull :)

Nope, wouldn't matter according to the law if it was forced or not. By law, if she was underage, then she does not have the legal capacity to consent. Might matter to the prosecutor to decide whether the prosecute. Your friends boyfriend is lucky he's not in jail.
