So I was born and raised in California, but recently (3 months ago) had to move to Washington State for some college courses. I had to get my driver's license up here for car insurance reasons, but I don't plan on being here for more than 6 months total. I will be moving back to California in a couple of months actually. I still have bills go to my house in California. My question is, when I move back to California, will I have to wait the 1 year before being considered a CA resident again, even though I was only gone for 6 months?
