If your hair has a greenish hue to it you need to put a color on it that has reddish tones to neutralize out the green. Names might be red brown/blonde, red gold, chocolate. Look for a color that says it has no ammonia/deposit only. Most color lines are named with a letter and a number. The number is the lightness and darkness... The letter is the tone... red, gold ash. Pick a level. (the number) the same as the first one you put on. Then pick a warm tone. (r,rg,cg,rb,ch,gc). Good luck
Coloring your own hair is a bad idea. Even though there are advertised colors on the packages, they do not take into account the type of hair you haven the content of the water you use(high chlorine will turn your hair green and react with the ammonia based colors, You would be better off going to a salon and having your hair repaired. Good Luck
Very odd. Sounds like you went too dark for your natural colour. Do you still have the box of the colour you used? There will be a number on the front somewhere. If you tell me that number and more about your natural hair colour I could probably help more.
My daughter is a true blonde. She dyed her hair black which she does a lot. But this time it had violet highlight in it. She loves the color but the blonde roots only took the violet. How can I fix this? Should I put a cool soft black on just the roots?
