I have a foley catheter in since yesterday and its causing a lot of severe pain and burning what should I do

For whatever reason the in line catheter shouid not hurt, maybe mild discomfort at first but nothing you can't get used to immediately.

Call fhe health care professional who installed it ASAP, before it does any damage to your urinary tract.
