Why plaintiff filed a nonsuit on writ of garnishment, Texas?
Question: Why did the plaintiff file a notice of nonsuit on 'writ of garnishment', in civil court Texas?

It appears this did not affect the actual default judgment case? (Junk Debt Collection Attorney) I am trying to figure out their strategy.

I currently have the default judgement in the court of appeals. The ball is in the appellee/plaintiffs court; they have to file their brief, as I have filed mine.

However, I should have filed for a re-trial, et.

    Thanks

    They dismissed the case?

Probably because they didn't want to bother with the appeal.

No doubt easier to simply sue you again.
