I was caught shoplifting and I was arrested and met with a judge. She said I have to pay a fine and get 2 years probation. Does that mean it doesn't go on my criminal record? Or after 2 years would it be dismissed?

If you went before a judge, then you have a criminal record. It could be that after you complete probation your record could be expunged. Talk to your probation officer about that.
