I was put on pregnancy disability for most of my pregnancy and received short term disability checks, would I be required to file taxes?

Yes... I had been through a short term disability personally... and yes.. while its typically paid without taxes taken out, they are still due at the end of the year.

Disability (short-term OR long-term) that is provided by your employer IS taxable income and must be reported on your tax return.
