I live in Tenn, I adopted a sibling group of three children one of whom gives me a lot a problems. I told DCS that I didn't want to adopt her because of all the issues she was having. They told me that they couldn't split up the group and I had to adopt all three together. Its been one yr since I adopted her and it hasn't gotten any better, I want to relinquish my rights as a parent but found out I might have to pay child support. Is that true I might have to pay child support to a child I adopted but didn't want to adopt anyway?

You are now the child's legal parent. Yes, if you return her to DCS you will be paying child support unless/until someone else adopts her. If you do return her I will be VERY surprised if DCS doesn't do an in-home investigation, particularly because you state you didn't want to adopt her anyway, and remove the other children.

You might also report the Social Worker who told you you HAD to take all 3 when you already said you only wanted 2 and then approved the adoption of the "unwanted" child.

Do the kid a favor - turn her over to DCS.

Although it was wrong for the worker to allow you to the adopt the child (together or not) after you indicated that you didn't want the child.. you are ultimately the one who accepted parent-ship of her and them. Adopting a child is not like adopting a dog or cat. You can't just pass them on like belongings. You would certainly have to pay child support and I would be surprised if you were not charged with some kind of abandoment though I don't know. Im sure if I decided to just not be my sons parent anymore -and without someone to sign him over to- I should be charged with abandonment of some type.
Im not a lawyer and have no experience in the matter.. just a bit of common sense and a real sense of heartache for YOUR daughter.

The legal boards are about the facts and the law, not about feelings and common sense. Common sense and law are very often not related.

And, yes, this is sad indeed - for the daughter who is now facing being rejected by her parents for the second time.
