How to deal with an insensitive daughter
I am now beyond my guilt of what I did wrong and have managed to detach myself emotionally from my daughter. I adore my 3 grandchildren and want to continue my relationship with them. Of course my daughter is the "gatekeeper" since they are under the age of 12. What is the best way for me to continue my relationship with them? I am now on pleasant terms with my daughter, but have concerns about her willingness to let them spend time with me without her.

And she is the gate keeper till they are 18 of course if she does not wish you to see them.

If you are now on good terms with daughter, why not start by visiting her and seeing the kids as she allows.
