My Ex broke up with me nearly 2 months ago and we have been having some amount of contact with each other ever since. The last time she proposed that we meet at a certain place and town but when the time came close she backed down saying she is really not sure if she ready to see me. By the way we don't live in the same town.

What does that mean? Does it mean that she still having problems over the break up? Should I just forget about it and move on or should I propose a new meeting?

You should move on no matter what her issue is. Have no more contact. Not even a little. That's not fair for you to have your hopes up, and then dashed to the ground again.

That's no way to heal, and will keep you stuck.

She's scared because she doesn't want to get hurt. This is exactlly how I was with my ex boyfriend but now I have to see him every Saturday and it doesn't help me move on . But the more you talk and the more you hang out there's a bigger chance you will end up back togeather.

She is not ready. It seems like you are willing to try though. I would go NC and stay firm. Work on yourself. Get organized and get your life in gear. Try to work on anything that may have bothered her in the past. Be a better person. Over the next few weeks or months, she may realize that you have not contacted her. If she is ready, then she will get a hold of you. But, you can't just wait for her. If the breakup was for minor reasons, then she may just need time. If there were other major issues, then don't think that getting back together will solve things.
