Me and my ex broke up nearly 1 year ago, although I never properly got over her. A few weeks ago all of a sudden both my ex and my best friend send me a text message asking if it was all right if they could date. At the time my mind was clouded by a crush (that said she loved me then rejected me and dated my friend) that I had, and I stupidly said fine. Ever since they my ex and best friend started dating I've been in a pit of depression, and I need advice on how to get over my ex.

Well... first of all your not stupid for saying yes. In fact it makes you a better person. Something along htose lines has happened to me as well. I sujest you try reconsiliation. And keep hanging out with your best friend, trust me it helps. And about depression, well there's a couple options. One is to try to do the things to love as much as you can, and be around people who like you. Another option is professional help, if you think your really depressed, seeing a doctor first could help. But if you are seriously depressed, like really really bad, don't take any drugs for it, just a personal recommendation. But trust doctors.

About getting over people, there isn't all that much you can do. The best thing to do is just go on with oyur life. Eventually your feelings will go away. To be replaced with new ones, prefferably happy ones.
