Am I supposed to cramp through the first few months of my pregnancy? I'm 6 to 7 weeks pregnant and I've been cramping on and off.

I'd like to hear the responses as I have been too but I'm about 4 to 5 weeks pregnant. I know there is stretching and my uterus preparing itself but this is my 4th child and I haven't experienced this before.

I know this was a post from a few weeks back, but for general information... if it is fairly mild, similar to menstrual cramps and off and on, it is likely normal. Many women feel as though their period is about to start. Certainly you can give your doctor or midwife a call for the peace of mind.

Usually the cramping is not a concern as long as it is not constant or severe.
