    Crohn's Disease, Medications and Alcohol.
I'm an 18 year old female. I have depression, anxiety and Crohn's disease. I'm currently on a Remicade IV infusion every eight weeks, asacol, zoloft, omeprazole, an iron supplement and zyrtec. I was wondering how alcohol would affect me, taking my conditions and medications into consideration. Also a scenario:

I was at a friend's house last week and she was drinking Smirnoff Ice. I had about three good sized sips of it, I felt fine. Three days later, I got a stomach bug. I threw up three times over a course of fifteen hours. Could these be related or no? Thanks!

Zoloft alone intensifies the effects of alcohol. You are playing a dangerous game if you are mixing prescribed drugs and alcohol.

I have no idea what "three good sized sips" means BUT if you ask the Physician who prescribed the medication I'm sure he/she will tell you not to drink alcohol.

I'm surprised you drink alcohol at all if you have Crohns disease.
