I would like to add more interior drain tile to my basement. I have a fruit cellar that is built into the foundation of my house, has its own footing and everyything. How do I connect the drain tile through the doorway? The doorway was built on top of a footing? Do I break the footing and bring my 3" tile through there?

I would notch the footer. But where are you going to drain it to? Most utilities won't let you discharge into the sewer system so if you don't have a handy ditch I would suggest a do it yourself dry well, (see image) good luck, Tom

I have 2 interior sumps I can go to.

And the sumps drain to? Just curious. Tom

Outside to storm sewer.

Notch the footer and tie back to the sump pumps. Good lock Tom
