I've been living with my other half boyfriend or if you want to some domestic partner for nine years now I feel he wants me out but he says if things don't change what are my rights he claims me on his incometaxes and put me on his insurance I'm beneficiary on his death policy help I need to know my rights before he really does it
He claims you on his taxes? How? You aren't related.
Anyone can list anyone as a beneficiary on a life insurance policy.
What State? If it's his house, he can evict you.
There is no legal process which legally ends a relationship. He wants out, he walks away.
If the tax return was submitted fraudulently and you did nothing about it you are a co-conspirator.

You have the right to anything you have your name on the deed or title of. So if you own a car in just your name, you own it, If you have a car in your and his name, you will have to try and buy his half from him.
But in general you don't have any rights, I am not sure how he is putting you on his insurance, do you have your domestic relationship registered with the state ?

Where do you live, there are specific rules to common law, an insurance company saying so, does not make it so for divorce court.

Illinois the insurance company says common law but my understfanding Illinois doesn't recognize it but hey do reconige living together as domestic partnership

In any case, Illinois does not recognize common law marriages therefore you have basically no more rights than a roommate.
You do have one lever to use. The fact that he has illegally claimed you on his taxes. However, if you filed as married or you filed a separate return, you could also be in trouble with the IRS.

Are you referring to being the beneficiary of his insurance policy? Anyone can be named beneficiary.
