    Wife left, now what?
    Moved to its own question.

I too am going through an ordeal with my wife of 16 years, she told me one Thursday she is leaving and there was no reason for it. When she left she still meets me for breakfast, lunch and the odd drink. Before Christmas she said she did not want to see me for at least a month and to give her a hug, what was that for? Now she tells me by text all the good qualities I have and talents, what did she leave for. This is her fourth time leaving and I think she is confused at 53 and does not know what she wants. Her daughter is getting divorced and she moved in with her, she changed all her phone numbers and e-mail so I cannot contact her, I do not know what to make of this?

What would I do? I'd leave her alone and see what happens next OR, if you've really had enough, I'd file for divorce. You have grounds - abandonment.

Yes, it sounds like she's torn but how long are you going to put up with her coming and going and sending mixed signals.

I will say, though, that I will always care for my ex-husband. I never had a problem seeing him, "dating" him. I DID have a problem living on a day-to-day basis with him.

Seems as this is her fourth departure, and you have no clue of why, I can only ask why you don't know, especially after dating breakfast and such contacts. I just can't believe you haven't asked, or something was offered on her part.

    CYOA, cover your own a$$.

No one is going to read something on another site - we're all volunteers with limited time.

What is the problem - in a nutshell?
