Hi, I have trane xr80 abut 9 year olds. Last night I notice the cold air keep blowing. When I check it out, I see the igniter keep glomimg but the valt dit not open gas, after I turn off and clean the sensor and put back, it work as normal. What is cause of it? The valt is going to die or sensor? Would any one help me out.

The flame senser needed cleaning

I don`t know what a valt is,, maube someone else can help you with this. I`ve been in the HVAC business for about 20 years ,but never heard of a Valt. Sorry

Im also stumped by valt. If you cleaned the flame senser, and all is working good, then I would just let it work until you have further problems. Hope it works for years to come. Take care.
