No, it is not going to end in 2012 and there is no evidence to indicate it will.

No, what's actually going to happen is that Earth will rotate in a different angle, and there is a chance that Earths rotation will slow down do to the angle. But most people are going crazy because they think the world will stop rotating.

I'm not too sure to be honest. There will be a large solar flare in 2012... but they are no where near big enough to kill us! And the last time the world was predicted to end... well... everybody got so riled up and gave all their money to this one man and it didn't happen, but the man refused to give all the money back! I think its just a scam. And another reason people think it is because the calendar ends! When the first calendar was made they only finished 2011, meaning there is no 2012 to some cultures! *and breathe*

The source of this rumor is the Mayan calendar. It is cyclical. The year 2012 is the end of one cycle. Relax, everyone.

Hey I have people coming in to buy fighting swords and taking classes how to fight with a sword, They want to be ready for society to fall, people to run out of bullets for their guns and it goes back to fighting with swords and things.

I need the world to end every year or so, to keep business up.

Actually, I did hear that the world will end in Georgia, Fr_Chuck.

I made a lot of money in 1999 selling generators for all the people that was afraid of no electric or water and so on.

But there are real groups with guns and ammo buried in secret compounds just thinking that soceity will crash at some point soon. I have a family member who is a member of one of these. They tell me the things to store, types of weapons to have and so on.

Its not the end of the wrld but in today's times a breakdown in society is a real threat. The problem most people will have is where to turn to and whom to trust.
