I am running a computer repair business in Texas. I have my Tax ID, Business license, and A Certification. I have been informed by another repair company in the same town that I need another kind of license (they will not tell me which one). I am not doing any "investigative" work, nor will I. What other license, if any, do I need?

Go to your local Chamber of commerce, they should be able to tell you.

Basically they said there is nothing more that I need. But I'm still being told by this other company that there is. This other company will NOT tell me what license it is (of course) and I'm not sure if maybe they're bluffing to try and get me to back out of the business. Any other ideas?
