If a collection agency purchased my credit card debt. For .30 on the dollar, can they legally collect the full amount of 2000.00 that was my original debt?

Not only can they collect the full amount, but they can collect legal fees, late fees anything allowed in the debt.

What they pay has nothing to do with it. But with that said, often they are more willing to settle for less if you can pay it in full to them.
