    Mortgage company... And also received an order by judge cancelling the note and mortgage.. Does it mean I now own my home free and clear?

    Without knowing more about the exact suit and what you were suing for, this is an attorney for the case to tell you exactly.

    But just by the words you have said, that is what those words mean.

    This would mean that you had already paid your loan and they were not saying it was paid. Since I see no reason a court would void a legal debt.

    From what you've said here it sounds like your home is free and clear of the loan which was the subject of this lawsuit. If there were other liens that were not part of the lawsuit then this judgment does not eliminate them.
