    I live in Florida but my employer is in NJ and withholds nj state sdi and sui taxes. Do I have to pay NJ taxes if I live in Florida?

    No, you do not.

    However, getting the SDI and SUI taxes BACK may be a problem. You need to contact the NJ Department of Revenue and find out how you can get these taxes back.

    For sure, contact your employer and tell him to STOP WITHHOLDING THESE TAXES. You are NOT liable to pay them if you neither live nor work in New Jersey.

    If you are not present in NJ to work, you do not pay any NJ taxes.
