I recently just got away from an abusive home, and adopted by my aunts. Everyone claims that my father did a lot of black magic, and I'm not one to get scared of small stuff like this. But, I'm fifteen, and at night, I feel like someone's there! The other day, my gramma and I walked into the house, and on the side of the bathroom saw a red, backwards cross, when I tried to scrub it off, it wouldn't come off and left a mark on the wall that looks like a cross, that's edged with red. Lately there's also been a knife showing up in the bathroom, no matter how many times we put it back. Also, all of us me, my aunt, and my gramma have been having recurring nightmares. All of them causing me to wake up screaming. Its kind of creeping me out, and I come from a very religious family! What should I do? What's happening?

If you have things appearing in your home, it is someone putting it there, most black magic results have more of a human nature in that things are done to cause fear and then the they use the fear to control.

So it is most likely that someone is breaking into the home, and doing these things to scare you.

but, no one could possibly be breaking in, we live in these apartments, and they are actually super safe! Its just that my dad gave out these threaded bracelets to us and all of us have been seeing some really creepy stuff! And my dogs will start barking just randomly in the bedroom, at nothing, or start pawing and whining at the bathroom door. They are well trained therapeutical dogs, and I've never seen them acting like this. The bracelets had been given out to us when we were little, I still have mine in my room. Although I don't wear it anymore. Also, its like a shadow. I can't tell if it's a guy or a girl, its just big, and its usually right outside the bedroom door, just like watching. Sometimes ill wake up too it, but by the time I reach the light its gone!

What was the purpose of these threaded bracelets?

Also, coming from a religious family does not grant you protection OR salvation.

So get rid of the bracelets. But this is how most of "black magic" works, they use real life things to convince you, I mean that your dad or he is having someone that follows his black magic, go into the apartment and move thing around to scare you.

Dogs, hear things we can't hear, smell what we can't.
It can even be they knew someone was in the hosue, or someone outside is blow a dog whistle.

In most of my experience, if your concern is magic, be more concerned of the person behind it, who often do real life things to convince people.
