I am 57 years young. NEVER sick, so to have a pain that is not going away is very concerning. Yes I am over weight 205lbs, height 5 foot 8 inches. I really hope I do not have to go to doctor. I am employed but no insurance.

I can only answer your question as a massage therapist. Most likely because of your weight and the daily sitting and standing positions that follow, let me ask you this question. When you lay down or stand, is your right foot falling to the right more than pointing forward? OR when sitting are you pushing your hips/knees out to the side? My guess is yes, but to decide how much or little- go to a massage therapist.I say this because any belly weight when sitting naturally rotates our hip and leg joints outward, stretching the inner thigh muscles.
It would be a great idea for you to go to a reputable massage therapist in a reputable chiropractic office. Combining the two therapies would be best for you and ask them to help shorten your PSOAS muscle. This will help any muscular issues.Believe me it is worth the price and a great investment in you! Any symptoms more than these and without insurance that I have tried is acupuncture. Good Luck!
