My husband and I take no measures to avoid pregnancy. My last period was on Jan. 11, 2007. At 7 seven days late (or 35 days past lmp), I took a hpt, which was negative. On the 9th day late, I was spotting, it wasn't pink like implantation bleeding is described as being - it was red. The next day, was spotting on and off, still red. This is definitely not as heavy as my normal period but is heavy enough that I have to use femine products. Not sure if I should waste the money on another hpt or how soon I should test.

How long does implantation bleeding last? Can it be red? I am on the 3rd day of really light period.
