Which popular science book can you recommend (as a present)?
I saw that someone has created a list of the best science books of 2011 based on many newspapers and websites here: http://popsciencebooks.com/psycholog...-books-of-2011

What is the best popular science book that you've read this year?

    Hey, nice list, thanks!
I've been out of the reading loop for a while.
I liked James Gleick's writing style very much when I read Genius about Richard Feynman - just difficult enough but not too. I'd read anything he wrote.

"Science" is a very broad term. Did you mean a leisure reading book, a textbook?
    Science through history?
    Political Science
    Management Science
    Computer Science
    Astronomy?
    Physics
    Biomechanical Science...
There are a lot of categories to choose from, can you be more specific?
