My motor is squeaking in my kichenaid dryer can I fix this?
My kitchenaid dryer is squeaking. I have removed the front panel and drum. I started the dryer to see if the squeak was coming from the motor and it is. Once started it runs but then there is an intermittent high pitch from the motor. Is this something I can fix? Do I need to replace the motor? After awhile the dryer just won't work, so I don't know if the motor is overheating because it will start after a length of time passes. Thanks!

If it is the motor you would have to replace the sealed bearings. This can be done with a bearing puller and it's not really that hard to do. You can get the bearings at any bearings supply. Try to get higher quality bearings. If it's anything else then you lubricate with white lithium grease. It's more likely one of the support rollers is causing the noise.
