Were do you live, if in the US, what state, You said wife ? So are you married ? The laws differ on this by location

In most states, if you are the husband, and she is your wife, no matter what your sexual orientation you are presumed to be the father of a child born to your wife. So, when the baby is born, the child will be legally yours, without further ado.

BTW, it's hard to understand exactly what you are saying because of your poor grammar and spelling. You say "me and my wife is gay". Does this mean your wife and you are gay? And you are asking about adopting "our" baby? As I say, adoption probably is not necessary.
