Hi I have a 2000 honda civic Lx , the Key symbole on the dash board don't go away if I try to start the car , and don't want to start even more. I think there is a code inside which don't let the car start , the key symbole keep flashing. Can somebody help me please.

I am far from a dealer ,I am trying to see whether it can reprogram by turning the key on and off 6 times
