    Soil seal?
    Will soil seal work on sewer line 4 " PVC it has big hole, plumber made a fist size hole to clean, left pipe unseal just covered it another half of pvc pipe, leaking, I cleaned pipe and put the piece of pipe over the hole and ealed it with soil seal product.

    This isn't simply a crack that you can patch. I would think a saddle clamp,(see image) would be a better fix for you. Good luck, Tom

    Soil seal will dry and crack off allowing sewer gasses into the home. Use a saddle clamp similar to the one posted by Tom or at a minimum use silicone to adhere the pipe half over the hole and secure it with SS worm clamps (see image below).
