Where is the bypass valve on the rainsoft house unit
Where is the by-pass valve on the rainsoft system located? Want to disconnect it from my home and rainsoft is not willing to tell me (even ater years of problems and the unti has been paid off for years)

I have researched Rainsoft Parts and can find on built in bypass valve so You must have a typical softener bypass,( see images). Simply close off the two vertical valves and open up the horizontal one and you have bypassed your softener. Good luck, Tom

Unless it is a very old water conditioning system, you will have a single valve with Push knob - not shown in Tom's post. They are supplied with each unit. You push it to one side for bypass and the other for conditioned water. The sides of the knob are usually marked "Push to By-Pass" . See the attachment. Back to you. Milo
