My boyfriend has been on 5 year felony probation for theft by deceiving,he would have been off in march but ended up violating by going to jail for stolen gps's in 2 different counties. Ones a misdemeanor ones a felony and if had a vop for his felony before he could even make to those two court dates for arraignment. What's going to happen? We have a 6 week old baby and a 2 year old I so scared?

I'm sorry for your loss.

There's no way to tell. But, my guess is that he'll do some jail time on VOP and if he's convicted of the new felony, he'll probably do some time on that. I wouldn't expect to see him for 18 months, maybe a couple years.

Sorry but does not matter if he has a family or not, many inside do. What is a shame he did not care enough for the family not to do criminal acts, knowing he would or could go to prison for several years.

But I do agree, I see that 18 months to 3 years to serve for current crime and VOP.
